Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, December 6, 2024<\/b> \u2013 <\/span>Young Americas Business Trust (YABT)<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Banreservas<\/span><\/a> will host the event for the Official Announcement and Presentation of the <\/span>VII Young Americas Forum<\/span><\/a>, the official youth participation process in the X Summit of the Americas. This significant launch will take place on December 10 at Banreservas headquarters, highlighting youth as an essential pillar for building a more inclusive and sustainable future.<\/span><\/p>

The VII Young Americas Forum aims to foster active youth participation, integrating their voices into the Summit of the Americas processes as an official social actor. This dialogue space will promote the development of innovative solutions to regional and global challenges, solidifying young people as agents of change and partners in prosperity.<\/span><\/p>

As part of the implementation and action process, the <\/span>Start-Up Challenge<\/b> will be officially announced. This initiative, a result of the partnership between YABT and Banreservas, will serve as a special category within the <\/span>Talent and Innovation Competitions of the Americas (TIC Americas)<\/span><\/a> program. Designed for young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 34, the Start-Up Challenge aims to foster innovation, digital transformation, and social impact in projects led by this new generation.<\/span><\/p>

Banreservas, the leading bank in the Dominican Republic’s financial system and a key driver of its economic framework, joins this regional initiative as a crucial partner, reinforcing its commitment to the region’s economic and social development by supporting projects that promote entrepreneurship and sustainability.<\/span><\/p>

Details about the Start-Up Challenge will be unveiled during the event, including its focus on accelerating digital transformation, promoting sustainable development, and advancing gender equity. The program’s opportunities and benefits will be highlighted, such as mentorship, specialized training, seed funding, and more for participants.<\/span><\/p>
